36 school carrom players to compete today to win Shri Udyanganesh Mandir Cup

36 junior school carrom players from Mumbai city and suburbs, Thane, Palghar, Ratnagiri etc. will compete to win the Shri Udyanganesh Mandir Cup carrom competition organized jointly by Shri Udyanganesh Mandir Seva Samiti Mumbai and Ideal Sports Academy. The inaugural match between Arnav Shingte of Antonio DaSilva High School-Dadar and Viraj Thakur of Thakur Ramnarayan Public School-Dahisar will begin in the presence of committee president Prakash Parab and manager Sanjay Iyer, as well as Shiv Chhatrapati Award winner organizer Leeladhar Chavan. This is a free carrom activity on the occasion of Maghi Ganeshotsav. This competition will be held on February 3 from 9.00 am at the temple premises in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Udyan at Shivaji Park.
The contenders for the Shri Udyanganesh Mandir Cup are Pushkar Gole and Prasanna Gole of Poddar Academy-Malad School, Dhruv Bhalerao of Antonio Da Silva High School-Dadar, Amey Jangam of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya, Kewal Kulkarni of SKKE School-Mulund, Neel Mhatre, Arnav Gawde, Nidhi Sawant, Ketki Mundle and Sara Devan of Patkar Vidyalaya-Dombivli, Umair Pathan of Shri Narayan Guru High School-Chembur, Aarav Anjarlekar of Shardashram Vidyamandir, Shrevansh Naka of Universal School-Thane, Nikhil Bhosale of Michael High School-Kurla, Sarvesh Parulekar of St. Joseph High School, Swara Mohire of Shirke High School-Ratnagiri, Tanaya Dalvi of Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Mandir-Bandra, V.N. Emerging junior carrom players like Grishma Dhamankar of Sule High School-Dadar, Swara Gawde of Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Dharmi Shukla of Aspi Nutan Academy International School etc. will compete on the Champion Carrom Board. The first 16 winners and runners-up will be felicitated with attractive trophies and the Striker Award.
