MUMBAI:-She’s got an adorable personality, she’s got abundant acting talent and this model turned actress and entrepreneur has also studied for MBA in Ahmedabad. She has acted in Television serials for Star Plus, Zee, Colours and Sony and among her notable films are Sanju and the film PM Narendra Modi.
That’s the multi-talented actress Aarti Joshi who is wooing the world with her currently featuring in the TV Commercial for Amazon Prime and Quick Heal Cyber Security awareness advertisements. She gained popularity with her prominent work in Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasma, modelled for Nakshatra Diamonds, impressed the viewers in Yeh Hai Mohabattein and now delights her fans in the ongoing soaps Kumkum Bhagya and Bhagyalakshmi.
Aarti was recently in Lebanon shooting Amazon’s commercial which is being aired on national channels in USA, UAE and other Gulf countries. It’s not only just that. Aarti has done several feature films for Bollywood, Tollywood, appeared in ad films and TVCs, acted in more than 30 Television Serials, and contributed her talent in almost a dozen hard hitting, social awareness short films and documentaries.
So what appeals to her the most – modelling, theatre, doing television serials or acting in films? “Quite often I do manage to do ads and endorsements and some worthwhile shorts. In Television, I have done a wide range of social dramas, and played a variety of important characters in serials often. At one time one feels the monotony doing theatre and Television. Since I want to regularly do something different, challenging and even tough roles to portray, I would like to do strong characters like an IAS or IPS officer, Commissioner or Judicial roles or anything that is demanding or taxing the mind.”
When enquired about her upcoming films, Aarti mentioned, “In the talks are some exciting leading offers in feature films for characters portraying strong personalities that would make me utilize the unexplored acting talent in myself. Even after this level of work, I still consider myself as a fresher in the industry.”
Imagine this coming from an actress who has even done ads with Amitabh Bachchan for Muthoot finance, personally been appreciated by Honourable PM Narendra Modi for her social work for people in Bhavnagar, and for an environmental awareness film Hawa Badlo which has been screened in 45 countries worldwide.
That is one actress who is as eager as a newcomer in Bollywood industry!
