Thane, : In honour of Maharashtra Day, Arpan Foundation in collaboration Seva Aur Sahyog, successfully hosted a thought-provoking event titled “Vision for Maharashtra 2047” at Planet Hollywood, Thane. The initiative aimed to create a platform for young thinkers, change-makers, and future leaders to present their ideas and aspirations for Maharashtra’s development over the next two decades.
The event was organised by Shri Manohar Dumbre, dynamic Former corporator of Hiranandani Estate & Former Head of all BJP Corporators, Thane and Shri Aditya Chauhan, a young and dynamic youth leader from Thane who is also the founder of the award-winning NGO, Seva Aur Sahyog. Aditya who has been honoured by CRISIL, NewsX, Kshatriya Samaj of Maharashtra and many other institutions was the brain behind the concept. It was also supported by Bhavna Dumbre, the backbone of Arpan Foundation, who was actively involved throughout.
Aarti Notiyal, Director of Bubble Communication, joined the initiative out of her deep connection with its vision; she co-founded the leading PR and influencer marketing agency in 2011 with advertising legend Prahlad Kakar.
The event encouraged youth to share innovative solutions across areas such as education, sustainability, infrastructure, technology, health, and inclusive growth. Selected presentations by participants were showcased, sparking engaging conversations on development and the future of the state.
Adding gravitas and guidance to the event were eminent dignitaries including Kripashankar Singh (Former Home Minister, Maharashtra), Niranjan Davkhare (MLC), Sandeep Lele (Maharashtra BJP Secretary), and Sanjay Waghule (Thane BJP Chief). Their presence inspired attendees and highlighted the importance of civic participation, leadership, and collaborative action in shaping the Maharashtra of tomorrow.
In his address, Shri Manohar Dumbre ji shared, “Empowering our youth is the most important investment we can make for the future of Maharashtra. Events like these light the spark that can turn ideas into impactful action”.

In addition to idea presentations, the evening celebrated the contributions of distinguished professionals and influencers from various fields, who were felicitated for their commendable work in community service, innovation, and youth engagement.
The event featured a dynamic lineup of speakers from diverse sectors. Sanjay Singh, journalist and author, spoke on socio-political change, while Sharan Babani, Director of Satguru Builders, emphasized the role of infrastructure. Dr. Chinu Kwatra, environmentalist and founder of Khushiyaan Foundation, highlighted sustainability. Vinod Tikmani, founder of V.L Tikmani and Associates, shared insights on entrepreneurship. Actor Gouri Tonnk spoke about using influence for positive impact. Vishal Anand, Head of Exports at Bajaj Electricals, discussed innovation and trade, and Dr. Prabodh Halde, renowned food technologist, addressed health and nutrition for a sustainable future.
Influencers felicitated for their outstanding community engagement and youth inspiration included Sushil Nawadkar, Sahil Kadam, Anjuri Sinha, Disha Patil, and Simran Sharma, each recognised for using their platforms to create positive change and awareness among the youth.
