Congress Goes Aggressive Against Voter Fraud; Raasta roko in Dadar

Is ‘Chip Minister’ Devendra Fadnavis an Agent or a Lawyer for the Election Commission? Why does the BJP respond to questions meant for the Commission?
Why the outburst against Rahul Gandhi instead of initiating a high-level probe into voter fraud?
Mumbai, (RMN.IN) : Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, created a political storm by presenting evidence-based claims on how the BJP allegedly committed voter fraud with the help of the Election Commission. Following Gandhi’s explosive revelations, the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee took to the streets in protest, led by State President Harshavardhan Sapkal. A massive raasta roko protest was carried out in Dadar, with loud sloganeering against the Election Commission and the BJP government. The protest caused a traffic halt for nearly an hour and saw participation from senior Congress leaders including Mohan Joshi, Rajan Bhosale, Kishore Kanhere, chief spokesperson Atul Londhe, Anant Gadgil, and hundreds of workers and office bearers.
Prior to the protest, during a press conference at Tilak Bhavan, State Congress President Harshavardhan Sapkal launched a scathing attack on the BJP and the Election Commission. He said Rahul Gandhi had presented a logical and compelling case exposing large-scale voting irregularities, demonstrating how democracy is being throttled. Given the clear evidence of this electoral scam, the government should have upheld constitutional morality by forming an SIT or ordering a probe by Supreme Court judges. However, neither the central government nor the Election Commission showed the courage to act. Instead, they asked Rahul Gandhi to file an affidavit, a laughable response, Sapkal said.
Sapkal added that as per the Election Commission’s 1960 regulations, if objections or complaints are raised, a probe must be initiated immediately under Rules 17, 18, and 19. “Then why hasn’t the investigation begun?” he questioned.
Devendra Fadnavis the ‘Chip Minister’!
After Rahul Gandhi exposed the Election Commission, BJP leaders stooped to personal attacks. The language used by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis against Gandhi raises questions, is he an agent for the Election Commission, its lawyer, or its spokesperson? Sapkal alleged that Fadnavis speaks not with pride, but with arrogance that reeks. “He’s not a Chief Minister but a Chip Minister,” Sapkal said. “Why does the BJP and Fadnavis get so riled up whenever someone questions the Election Commission? Why do Amit Shah and Fadnavis rush to defend it? It’s not just that something is fishy, everything is rotten. Rahul Gandhi has exposed a scam that threatens to reveal the Commission’s vested interests, and that’s what’s making Fadnavis nervous.”
Responding to the BJP’s allegation that Congress didn’t raise objections during polling, Sapkal clarified that Congress had raised concerns during and after polling. Defeated candidates had even filed petitions in the High Court. Evidence of electoral fraud was also submitted to the Election Commission at that time. “BJP is only trying to confuse people with such baseless claims,” he said.
Congress to Launch Statewide Protest Against Voter Fraud The Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee will soon launch statewide protests against voter fraud. These will include rallies, marches, and yatras across the state.
