Mumbai, – ESPNcricinfo, in collaboration with NEXA, has announced the launch of ESPNcricinfo CricCaster Powered by NEXA, an innovative initiative designed to identify and elevate emerging cricket analysts by integrating them into the industry’s most respected platforms. This strategic effort reinforces ESPNcricinfo’s commitment to fostering talent within the cricket ecosystem while providing NEXA with an avenue to engage deeply with the sport’s dedicated audience.
Through this initiative, cricket enthusiasts with a keen understanding of the game, analytical acumen, and on-screen presence can submit a one-minute video entry via Instagram. Participants are required to present their unique perspectives on cricket, use the hashtags #ESPNcricinfo #Nexa #CricCaster, and follow @ESPNcricinfo and @Nexa on Instagram. A distinguished panel comprising ESPNcricinfo’s editorial leaders and prominent cricket broadcasters – Jatin Sapru, Mayanti Langer Binny, and Raunak Kapoor will assess submissions and shortlist four finalists.
Finalists will receive an exclusive opportunity to contribute to high-impact fan content in the lead-up to IPL 2025, aligning with ESPNcricinfo’s continued expansion of interactive and digital-first experiences. The most outstanding participant will be named the CricCaster Champion, earning the opportunity to appear live as a guest panelist on ESPNcricinfo’s T20 Time Out, engaging in discussions alongside some of the most recognized analysts in cricket broadcasting.
