New Delhi, (RMN): On the inaugural day of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 held on 14 November 2025 in New Delhi, Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), visited the BSE booth. He was accompanied by Shri G. Ram Mohan Rao (Executive Director – SEBI), Shri Vijayant Kumar Verma (Regional Director – SEBI NRO), and other senior SEBI officials. The delegation was welcomed by BSE MD & CEO, Shri Sundararaman Ramamurthy, and Public Interest Director, Shri Rajiv Bansal.
During the visit, the SEBI delegation commended BSE’s ongoing efforts to strengthen investor education and awareness across the country. They also engaged in an insightful discussion on BSE’s initiatives focused on enhancing financial literacy and empowering investors.
The India International Trade Fair (IITF), one of India’s most prominent and influential trade fairs, serves as a key platform for public institutions and private businesses to connect directly with customers. The participation of SEBI and all Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs) at IITF 2025 is significantly contributing to enhancing financial literacy, deepening investor engagement, and promoting greater transparency in India’s securities market.
