“Every child deserves the opportunity to receive quality education and build a better future. Rajasthan today has over 67,000 schools supported by nearly 5.75 lakh teaching and non-teaching staff, reflecting the Government’s strong commitment to ensuring that no child is left behind. Through the Gyan Sankalp initiative, we invite individuals, corporates and institutions to partner with us in strengthening government schools. If you provide food, you satisfy hunger for a day; if you provide clothing, it lasts for a few months; but if you educate a child, you empower generations,” said Shri Madan Dilawar, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for School Education, Panchayati Raj and Sanskrit Education, Government of Rajasthan, while addressing a session on Strengthening School Education, organised by MVIRDC World Trade Center Mumbai and All India Association of Industries.

Such collective participation can help strengthen the education system and create better opportunities for every student, “added shri Dilawar.

Through the Gyan Sankalp initiative, individuals, alumni, corporates and CSR partners are encouraged to support government schools with infrastructure, learning resources and digital facilities, helping bridge resource gaps and strengthen the quality of education for future generations.”
Dr. Vijay Kalantri, Chairman, World Trade Center Mumbai and President, All India Association of Industries said “Education is the strongest pillar of national development. India’s literacy rate has increased from nearly 74% in 2011 to approximately 80.9% in 2023–24, reflecting the country’s steady progress in expanding access to education. However, greater emphasis must now be placed on quality, inclusivity, skill development and future-ready learning. India’s young population is our greatest strength, and empowering youth through education, entrepreneurship, innovation and global exposure will be essential to achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047,”
Ms. Priya Pansare, Senior Director – Trade Investment and International Relations, highlighted the important role of education in nurturing responsible, skilled and future-ready youth. Referring to the MY Bharat “Nasha Mukt Yuva” initiative scheduled for the following day, she noted that WTC Mumbai was among the 10,000 centres across the country participating in the programme and emphasised that educating, guiding and positively engaging young people through such initiatives is essential to realising the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, and reaffirmed WTC Mumbai’s continued support for quality education, skill development and industry-academia collaboration.
