Mumbai,(RMN): The 56th edition of the annual flagship exhibition ‘Magic Moments’ was inaugurated today by Dr. Batra Foundation. The exhibition showcased a collection of photographs captured by Padma Shri Dr. Mukesh Batra of the scenic beauty of the Arctic region. The five-day exhibition was inaugurated by renowned actor Shekhar Suman. The entry to the exhibition is free and will remain open to the general public from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily till 21 September 2025 at Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery, Bajaj Bhavan, 226, Nariman Point, Mumbai.

Speaking on the occasion, Padma Shri Dr. Mukesh Batra said, “As a doctor, I know that a hobby like photography not only provides stress relief and mental stimulation, but also helps in improving mental and physical health. For me, photography is not just a creative expression, it enhances decision-making, trains me to observe closely and teaches me the difference between ‘seeing’ and ‘understanding’; which I also use in my field of providing accurate medical treatment to patients.
The exhibition is inspired by the majestic and fragile beauty of the North Pole, and is not just a visual spectacle but a message that highlights the urgent need to protect our planet. The sentiment of ‘click, or the moment will be gone’ is very much in line with the call for ‘act before it’s too late’ for the environment.
I believe that every person has a hidden talent and artist within them. If we harness it for the good of society, we can create a happier, more civilized and sustainable world.
I sincerely thank Nikon and all the guests for bringing art, awareness and action together in this initiative.”
Speaking on the occasion, actor Shekhar Suman said, “I am extremely happy to be a part of this event, as it celebrates the unique beauty of our planet and also conveys a meaningful social message. It is inspiring to see Dr. Batra Foundation bringing about social change through art. I am amazed by Dr. Batra’s multi-faceted personality. Founder of the world’s largest chain of homeopathy clinics, artist who sings to raise funds for old age homes, international author and this is his 56th photography exhibition. This exhibition is not just a celebration of photography, but of life and a beautiful attempt to give something back to the society by helping the weaker sections of the society.” The Magic Moments exhibition has carved a significant place in Mumbai’s cultural calendar for many years, not only because of its artistic beauty but also because of the noble purpose behind it. This exhibition, organized in collaboration with Nikon, proves once again that art not only creates beauty, but also has the power to awaken compassion. All proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to the Victoria Memorial School for the Blind. This initiative has been an integral part of Magic Moments since its inception.
