MUMBAI : RMI.IN : The upcoming Marathi film ‘Devghar On Rent’, which brings together a unique blend of spirituality, mystery, thrill and high-octane action, is already creating a buzz. While the title itself – ‘Devghar’ and ‘Rent’ – has sparked curiosity about what mystery lies behind these two words, the makers have now unveiled a power-packed trailer that offers a glimpse into its gripping narrative.
The trailer launch ceremony of ‘Devghar On Rent’ was held recently in Mumbai. The trailer reveals a thrilling, mysterious world where emotional depth meets edge-of-the-seat suspense.
The film is all set to release on 25th September 2026 across Maharashtra as well as Belgaum, Hyderabad, Indore and Baroda.
A Film Backed by Strong Team
Presented by Anandi Pictures, Amravati and produced under Radhakrishna Production, ‘Devghar On Rent’ is produced by Sachin Rode Patil and Poonam Choudhary Patil. The film is directed by Swaroop Sawant. The concept is by Poonam Choudhary Patil, while story, screenplay and dialogues are written by Sanjay Navgire.
Right from the first frame, the trailer establishes a dark, mysterious atmosphere. Meaningful dialogues, a gripping police investigation, suspicious incidents, intense conflicts and tension between characters make the plot increasingly intriguing. The story seems to revolve around a police officer, the underworld, and a series of inexplicable events centered around a mysterious Devghar (temple room).
More Than Just an Action Film
While high-octane action sequences – including chases, hand-to-hand combat and intense confrontations – have been given special prominence, the film also delves deep into the mysterious aura surrounding the Devghar, its spiritual references and unexplainable phenomena. This indicates that ‘Devghar On Rent’ is not just an action film, but a mystery-thriller that takes the audience on a different, spiritual path.
With South-Indian style action choreography, the makers have attempted to give the film a larger-than-life canvas. The dramatic twists and turns are perfectly complemented by powerful action.
Stellar Ensemble Cast
The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Nikhil Chavan, Ankit Mohan, Bhau Kadam, Shashank Shende, Ashwini Chavare, Vaibhav Chavan, Suresh Vishwakarma, Anil Nagarkar, Siddheshwar Zadbuke and Gautami Patil. Adding to the excitement, ‘KGF’ fame Garuda Ram and Shravan Raghavendra, popular South Indian actors, will be seen in pivotal roles.
Technical Brilliance
Music for the film has been composed by S. Sagar and Kabir Shakya, who have given soulful tunes to meaningful lyrics. Choreography is by Kishor Dalavi. Cinematography is handled by Chaitanya Salunke, while Rohit Nagbhide has done the background score.
Action sequences have been designed by Rakesh Patil and Kartik Dangari. Art direction is by Dilip Kandhare, costume by Apeksha Gandhi Soni and makeup by Sujit Suravase.
Anuneha Ghodke is the Executive Producer and Yash Sanas is the Production Manager. Akshay Londhe handled sync sound, Sharma’s team handled lighting, and Vijay Mhaske worked as Production Head.
With mystery, devotion, emotion and action, ‘Devghar On Rent’ promises to be a different kind of cinematic experience for Marathi audiences this September.
