Mumbai (RMN.IN) The ‘Uttar Mumbai Khasdar Krida Mahotsav 2025’, an initiative of local MP & Union Minister Piyush Goyal, has received an overwhelming response from citizens as over 20000 Uttar Mumbai Residents from all walks of life are expected to participate in the Walkathon, being held tomorrow(05.11.2025). The Event will be held in all 42 Wards of Pyush Goyal’s Uttar Mumbai Parliamentary Constituency.
The much-awaited Walkathon, being held on November 5, is expected to truly make this as a mass fitness movement, symbolizing unity and enthusiasm for health and community spirit.
Registrations are open, and citizens can also register on the spot at the venue to take part in the Walkathon. Goyal has appealed to citizens of all age groups especially senior citizens, women, children, etc to join in large numbers and make the event a grand success.

The Walkathon is designed to bring together youth, women, and senior citizens, promoting the message: “Let’s walk daily, stay healthy.” The 2–3 km community walk aims to move beyond the traditional park-based routine, inspiring residents to embrace a collective culture of fitness across neighborhoods.
All participants in the Walkathon will be awarded certificates in recognition of their commitment to fitness and community participation.
The festival continues to draw enthusiastic participation from residents across Uttar Mumbai, symbolizing how sports can serve as a unifying force to build a healthier, stronger, and more vibrant community.
Union Minister and MP from Uttar Mumbai, Piyush Goyal, appealed to all the residents to actively participate in the festival, emphasizing that the event is not just about competition but about community togetherness and fitness awareness.
