Mumbai : (RMN.COM) Hindu Economic Forum Hosts Grand Felicitation Ceremony for Women Entrepreneursorum organised a grand felicitation ceremony in Mumbai themed “Celebrating Women Entrepreneurship – From Sankalp to Samriddhi,” bringing together successful women entrepreneurs, industry representatives, policymakers, and prominent figures from across the country to celebrate women’s economic empowerment and leadership. Mumbai Mayor Smt. Ritu Tawde was the Chief Guest at the event.

Speaking at the event, Mayor Smt. Ritu Tawde congratulated all the awardees and said, Under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, women’s economic empowerment, self-reliance, and entrepreneurship are being consistently promoted across the country. The Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam is itself a reflection of the broader vision that women get equal opportunities to advance in every walk of life. Today’s woman is not just a pillar of the family but an equal partner in the nation’s economy and growth. Recognising such inspiring women entrepreneurs is truly a meaningful step towards a Viksit Bharat.”

In his presidential address, Shri Ravikant Mishra said that the Hindu Economic Forum organises such events every year to build a strong platform for dialogue and collaboration between established entrepreneurs, industry stakeholders, and emerging business leaders.

  • He added, “The World Hindu Economic Forum’s purpose is not merely to bring entrepreneurs together on one stage, but to build an economic ecosystem where industry leaders, investors, professionals, startups, and innovators can share their experiences, knowledge, and resources to create greater prosperity for society.
  • Women have always played a vital role in India’s growth. The need of the hour is to move beyond enabling women to find employment — we must help them become entrepreneurs who create employment for others.
  • I also urge every section of society to collectively build a supportive ecosystem for women — one where guidance, mentorship, legal assistance, emotional support, and timely help are readily available. Many educated and talented women still face difficult situations due to social pressures, family circumstances, and mental stress. We must not just educate our daughters, but also make them confident, emotionally strong, and capable of facing life’s challenges. That, in the truest sense, is women’s empowerment.”

Smt. Priyam Gandhi-Modi and Smt. Rubal Negi delivered keynote addresses, sharing their perspectives on entrepreneurship, leadership, self-confidence, and social responsibility.

A panel discussion during the event saw Nawaz Modi Singhania, Vineeta Dalal, Preeti Rathi Gupta, and Seetu Kohli exchange views on women entrepreneurship, investment, brand building, financial independence, and the growing role of women in business.

Eight inspiring women entrepreneurs were felicitated for their outstanding contributions across diverse fields. The awardees included Rubal Negi, social activist, artist, and author; Sahila Chaddha, film actress, former Miss India, and elected representative of CINTAA; Ankita Sheth, Co-Founder and Head of Acquisitions at Stay Vista; Naina Parekh, Co-Founder of EUME; Shri Supranayee, Co-Founder and CEO of Andura Expeditions Pvt. Ltd.; Advocate Priyanka Dubey, Co-Founder of Hedgehog & Fox LLP and criminal law specialist; Anisha Anand, Founder and Director of Aurum Foods; and Shweta Barve, Founder of Green Gold Agro.

The event stood as more than a felicitation ceremony. It emerged as a meaningful initiative to chart a new direction for women’s economic empowerment, leadership development, and their role in nation building.
