MUMBAI RMN.IN(E) : An exciting day of inter-school football unfolded across GOANS, MSSA Ground, and WINGS as the Dream Sports MSSA Inter-School Football Tournament witnessed dominant victories, thrilling tie-breakers, and standout individual performances across the U-12 and U-14 categories.

At GOANS, the U-14 Boys 4th Division matches began with a tight contest as St. Anthony’s (Santacruz) and St. Francis ICSE (Borivali) played out a goalless draw. A.V.M. Bandra then produced one of the most emphatic wins of the day, thrashing AKI Hussain Allana English ‘B’ 6–0, powered by a hattrick from Nabhya Jain and goals from Nirvaan Rajami, Aaran Hirami, and Ishaan Chandel.

Parle Tilak ICSE edged Green Acres ‘B’ 1–0 through Harsh Angre, while The Somaiya (Vidya Vihar) advanced by default after Jankidevi Public failed to report. St. Peter’s (Mazagaon) delivered a dominant performance, hammering Fr. Angelo (Malad) 7–0, with Omar Ansari and Abdus Samod scoring hattricks.

In the U-14 Boys 3rd Division, Vibgyor High (Malad) clinched third place after edging Ryan International ICSE (Malad) 6–5 in a nail-biting tie-breaker following a 1–1 draw. Aarav Bist found the net in regulation. The final saw Utpal Sanghvi (Juhu) crowned champions after a commanding 3–0 victory over Podar International CBSE (Powai), with goals from Ayaansh Mathur and Kabbir Asawa.

Meanwhile at the MSSA Ground, the U-12 Boys MSSA Cup produced several impressive displays. St. Peter’s ‘B’ (Mazagaon) defeated Ramniwas Bajaj (Malad) 3–0, while Cathedral & John Connon overcame CNM ND Parekh 2–1 courtesy a brace from Arin Bhane.

St. Mary’s ICSE (Mazagaon) were in ruthless form, thrashing Gopal Sharma (Powai) 5–0, led by a hattrick from Miqdad Selia. Don Bosco High School (Borivali) secured a 2–0 win over Sacred Heart (Santacruz), and Jamnabai Narsee (Juhu) beat St. Stanislaus (Bandra) 2–0 thanks to a brace from Pashan Maneckshaw.

St. Anne’s High School (Malad) also impressed with a 2–0 victory over Don Bosco International (Matunga). Nita Mukesh Ambani School (BKC) closed the day in style, defeating Cathedral & John Connon ‘B’ 3–0, with Vansh Premnarayen scoring twice.

At WINGS, the U-14 Boys Utpal Sanghvi Knockout Tournament delivered high-intensity action. Fazlani L. Academie edged Maneckji Cooper in a tie-breaker after a thrilling 2–2 draw. Lakshdham (Goregaon) defeated Green Acres (Mulund) 2–0, while Holy Family (Andheri) dominated Billabong High International 5–0, led by braces from Rushabh Madhav and Rian Rosario.

St. Lawrence (Kandivali) edged Thakur Public School 2–1, Rustomjee Cambridge ‘A’ (Dahisar) beat St. Joseph (Juhu) 2–0, and Bombay Scottish (Powai) rounded off the action with a 4–1 win over Podar ORT (Worli), inspired by a hattrick from Aarin Kumar.
