MUMBAI RMN.IN(E) : The prestigious national conference ISECTCON 2026 will be held in Mumbai on 27–28 February 2026, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Hotel Aurika, Mumbai. This conference is organized by the Indian Society of Extra Corporeal Technology (ISECT) and aims to bring together experts, researchers, and students from across India in the field of Perfusion Science.
ISECTCON 2026 will focus on advancements in modern perfusion science and improvements in patient care. The conference will feature eminent national experts, international speakers, scientific sessions, E-poster presentations, industry exhibitions, and dedicated educational activities for students. The event promises to serve as a comprehensive academic and professional platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
During the challenging period of COVID-19, when the healthcare system was under immense pressure, perfusionists and allied healthcare professionals played a life-saving role. They worked tirelessly in intensive care units, supporting critically ill patients with advanced life-support technologies, including artificial ventilation and circulatory support systems. Even in high-risk conditions, their dedication, technical expertise, and commitment to patient care stood as a remarkable example of professional excellence and humanitarian service. Their precise skills have also been instrumental in managing complex procedures such as pediatric congenital heart surgeries and heart transplantation, giving countless patients a new lease on life.
The primary objective of this conference is to promote new research in perfusion science, enhance the quality of healthcare services, and strengthen knowledge exchange among professionals.
