In every season, whether heavy rains or the scorching summer heat, they continue their service tirelessly, keeping us connected. To honor their dedication, HVS Hospital has undertaken a significant social responsibility initiative.
Under the “Summer Health Initiative,” hardworking postmen from the Dadar Postal Division were provided with essential items to ensure safety and hydration during the peak summer heat. More than 100 premium water bottles, protective caps, first-aid kits, and ORS packs were distributed.
This initiative received special appreciation from the head of the Dadar Postal Division, who welcomed the effort and commended HVS Hospital for caring about the health of these vital community workers.
The program was carried out under the guidance of renowned interventional cardiologist Dr. Harshad Sagar, in collaboration with the Corporate & Community Department of HVS Symbiosis Hospital’s marketing team. The event was covered by ten newspaper representatives, with several memorable moments captured.
Against the backdrop of rising city temperatures, HVS Hospital launched this campaign with the motto “Beyond Healthcare, Serving Society.” Heat exposure often leads to dehydration, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke, which can escalate into cardiac complications. By raising awareness of these risks, HVS Hospital has reaffirmed its commitment to community health.
“Our postal employees are the backbone of communication. Even in difficult circumstances, they continue their service without pause. This initiative is our small effort to care for their health and honor their dedication,” said Dr. Harshad Sagar.
HVS Hospital remains available 24×7 in Mumbai, with services across Dadar, Ghatkopar, Borivali, and Thane. Through this initiative, the hospital aims to provide immediate relief and spread awareness about health safety during the summer season.
